Myofascial Release
services1Myofascial Release is the three-dimensional application of sustained pressure and movement into the fascial (connective tissue) system in order to eliminate fascial restrictions which can help pain and restore motion and function. Upon locating an area of fascial tension, gentle pressure is applied in the direction of the restriction. Myofascial Release is an effective therapeutic approach in the relief of cervical pain, back pain, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, neurological dysfunction, restriction of motion, chronic pain, and headaches. Each client is viewed as a unique individual as a whole and treatment usually includes postural evaluation. These treatments are done directly on skin without lotion or oil. “I was referred to Kristin several years ago while I was undergoing physical therapy for a neck and shoulder problem. The physical therapist that referred me is very professional and smart. I knew I would be in good hands as soon as I met Kristin. My shoulder problem is a chronic situation. I stay in touch with Kristin when the area flairs up and she gently, but thoroughly, is able to find the area that needs attention. I am amazed that she can feel the muscles and describe my pain to me. She is very knowledgeable and you can tell that she truly wants to help resolve a physical problem.

I am confident that anyone who sees Kristin for a muscular problem will be satisfied with her skills. She’s a therapist that her colleagues can be proud of.” – Shelia
